Doug James has been named to the Advisory Council for Make-A-Wish Foundation of Montana.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® is a non-profit organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.
The Foundation was founded in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. A small group of people helped to make a very ill boy achieve his wish to be a state trooper for a day. Currently there are 64 chapters in the US and 36 international affiliates.
The local organization serves all 56 counties in Montana and granted its first wish in 1987. Since then, nearly 300 wishes have been granted with the help of more than 50 volunteers.
