Katie Bell Presents at Annual Montana Captive Insurance Association Conference

Katie Bell, one of Moulton Bellingham's tax and corporate attorneys, recently presented at the Sixth Annual Conference for the Montana Captive Insurance Association (MCIA). She spoke regarding the 2010-2011 legislative improvements to Montana's Captive Insurance Company Act, which includes leading-edge legislation related to various aspects of captive insurance in the State of Montana. Specifically, the legislative changes will, if passed, allow for the formation of incorporated cell captives and special purpose captives, while making other general improvements to the current captive statute. Katie spoke to the attendees at the MCIA Conference regarding these legislative advancements in Montana's laws and the continued positive impact they will have upon captive insurance in the State of Montana.
