J. Bell
Katie was born in Malta , Montana on September 23, 1979. In 1998, she graduated first in her class at Glasgow High School in Glasgow, Montana, where her family still lives. She attended the University of Montana, Missoula, and the Davidson Honors College, graduating in 2002 with high honors and a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting. Katie then enrolled in the University of Montana School of Law. While there, she received the Non-Profit Organizations award and was named Managing Editor for the Montana Law Review. She spent her law school summers clerking for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Billings, Montana, and the Moulton Law Firm. Katie graduated from law school with honors in May, 2005.
Before returning to the Moulton Law Firm as an associate attorney, Katie completed her education by obtaining an LL.M. degree in Taxation at New York University School of Law. She then joined the Moulton firm in 2006.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys running, traveling, hiking, and camping. She also is a devoted football fan. Katie is a member of the Yellowstone County Bar Association and the State Barof Montana. She uses her tax and accounting experience in her law practice, specializing in estate matters and commercial transactions.
