Katie Maehl is a Shareholder at Moulton Bellingham, specializing in estate matters and commercial transactions.
Katie was born in Malta , Montana on September 23, 1979. In 1998, she graduated first in her class at Glasgow High School in Glasgow, Montana, where her family still lives. She attended the University of Montana, Missoula, and the Davidson Honors College, graduating in 2002 with high honors and a B.S. in Business Administration – Accounting. Katie then enrolled in the University of Montana School of Law. While there, she received the Non-Profit Organizations award and was named Managing Editor for the Montana Law Review. She spent her law school summers clerking for the U.S. Attorney's Office in Billings, Montana, as well as Moulton Bellingham. Katie graduated from law school with honors in May, 2005.
Before returning to Moulton Bellingham as an associate attorney, Katie completed her education by obtaining an LL.M. degree in Taxation at New York University School of Law. She then joined Moulton Bellingham in 2006. Katie is a member of the Yellowstone County Bar Association and the State Bar of Montana.
In her spare time, Katie enjoys running, traveling, hiking, and camping.
